How much does a student cost?
The latter can, of course, not be done. But if you care about the quality of your child’s education, your attitude towards them… Maybe in your school this amount is small — but it is far from the only thing that makes up the “cost of a student”. Other funds are inconspicuous 5 groups of expenses, which can be much higher at the expense. For example, additional contributions. For repairs, purchase of equipment, consumables (from cartridges and detergents to light bulbs and water for the cooler). Plus “surprises” for teachers — flowers, holiday gifts, “envelopes”, etc. The second is the things needed for the educational process. Uniforms, stationery, briefcase-diary, educational literature: textbooks, notebooks, CDs, etc. The third is classes with teachers/tutors. Most parents sooner or later turn to them — to improve their English, explain physics, make sure that the child is ready for exams… The fourth is nutrition. The standard school menu does not satisfy either children or parents. The former do not like pea soup or boiled pollock. The latter understand that these are “empty calories”. Therefore, children carry food from home. Or money — and spend it on snacks like chips and chocolates. The fifth is transport. Parents are often forced to take a student from the left bank to the center, if only the school is good, the education is of high quality and the child likes it. But it’s gasoline, parents’ time away from work, idle time in traffic jams, sometimes a taxi… And nerves. Yes, these “smeared in a thin layer” costs are imperceptible. There is 800 UAH, there is 500 UAH, there are flowers, every day 100 UAH for food, something else for travel…
“But people, balancing the balance, sometimes realize that a good state gymnasium is more expensive than a commercial one!”
. It’s like “conditionally free medicine”. Find a doctor, “thank” the intermediary, give a bill for the reception, cognac candies — for attention. And then pay for the operation, tests, rehabilitation — how much they will say and where they will say. And everything is in a state institution, in a queue. Or you can find a private clinic, pay 500 UAH — and not feel that you were “met halfway” just because you are “from Ivan Ivanovich”. Sooner or later, people realize that they have this choice, and private medicine makes sense. It’s the same with school. Especially if you calculate the actual costs and compare with what Claris Verbis offers. And this is UAH 24,000 per month, which includes high-quality education, trips, two meals a day, tutoring and psychological support, care, stationery, etc.
“A healthy atmosphere without bullying, shared values of the school and parents, honest and open relationships. This is something that cannot be counted, but is so appreciated.”
